1.) RADIO FREQUENCY SPECTRUM APPLICATION

The Telecommunications Authority of Fiji wishes to advise members of the public that any request for radio or television broadcast licencing and radio frequency spectrum allocation, assignment, and licencing must be communicated to the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Communications at Level 3, Civic Towers, Suva. 2.)  PROHIBITION OF IMPORTATION AND USAGE OF DECT CORDLESS TELEPHONES

The Telecommunications Authority of Fiji (‘Authority’) wishes to advise that any importation or usage of DECT CORDLESS TELEPHONES is strictly prohibited at any time or place within Fiji.
Usage of DECT CORDLESS TELEPHONES causes harmful interferences to the licensed 3G networks in Fiji.
The Authority will exercise its powers vested in it by the Telecommunications Promulgation of 2008 if there is a breach to this notice.
