Solar-Powered Satellite-Based Community Wi‑Fi Rollout

The Telecommunications Authority of Fiji (TAF) invites suitably qualified and
experienced Service Providers to submit proposals for the end-to-end supply,
installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance of solar-powered,
satellite-based Community Wi‑Fi Centres across designated Universal Service Areas
under Phase 2 of the Universal Service Obligation (USO) Programme.

This initiative aims to expand access to reliable telecommunications and ICT
services in underserved and unserved communities throughout Fiji.

Scope of Services

• End-to-end supply, installation and commissioning of solar-powered,
  satellite-based Community Wi‑Fi Centres.
• Operation and maintenance of deployed Community Wi‑Fi Centres.
• Delivery of services across designated Phase 2 Universal Service Areas.

• Clarification Requests Deadline: 7 August 2026
• Tender Submission Deadline: 19 August 2026 at 4:00 PM (Fiji Standard Time)

tenders@taf.org.fj.

TAF reserves the right to seek further clarification, presentations or
demonstrations during the evaluation process and may award the work across
multiple Service Providers by province or lot.
